The Terms of Use states:
The Individual purchaser of CSPS music recordings, as a physical CD or downloadable audio product (“Music Files”), from the CSPS Online Shop (“Online Shop”), may:
1. Convert the Music Files into another format or type of media (CD, MP3/4, etc.) for the Permitted Uses only.
2. Play Music Files directly from the Online Shop on other devices you own. You may also load a copy of the CD or downloads from the Online Shop onto a personal audio player device (e.g., smart phone, tablet, or file player) for the Permitted Uses only (see below).
3. Perform the Music Files as part of a church service or Sunday School class as allowed by the Permitted Uses.
THE FOLLOWING “PERMITTED USES” MAY REQUIRE YOU TO OBTAIN ADDITIONAL LICENSING FOR REPRODUCTION, DISTRIBUTION, OR PUBLIC PERFORMANCE OF COPYRIGHTED WORDS OR MUSIC, INCLUDING FROM THE COPYRIGHT OWNER AND/OR THE MUSICAL PERFORMING RIGHTS ORGANIZATION IN YOUR JURISDICTION. YOUR LICENSE TO USE MUSIC FILES DOWNLOADED FROM THE ONLINE SHOP OR MUSIC CD IS LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING “PERMITTED USES”. PLEASE NOTE THE RESTRICTIONS ON BRANCH CHURCH USES:
- For individuals: Personal/home use.
- For Branch Churches: Playing (“performing”) the Music Files in Branch Church Services and Sunday School, (“Permitted Uses”) solely as permitted in the Legal Guidelines. Note that the Recordings and underlying Songs in many of the Music Files sold in the Online Shop are not owned by The Mother Church, and permission from Copyright Owners may be needed to perform them.
THIS LICENSE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING, unless permitted in the Legal Guidelines:
- Playing the Music Files via Live Streaming, broadcasting, or public performances
- Making copies of the Music Files for sharing with others via CDs, social media, email, or any electronic means
- Making new recordings that include part of or entire Music Files
- Commercial or for-profit use of the Music Files
